Investigations By King (IBK) was founded in Scottdale, PA in 1996 by Chuck King, who operated the business for 23 years before partnering with Command Investigations, LLC in 2019.
Upon its inception in 1996, IBK service offerings included global coverage in the areas of executive protection, undercover workplace investigations, background investigations, surveillance as well as investigative consulting services, education and training for notable Fortune 500 Companies. These partnerships have experienced steady growth and remain strong across decades.
IBK has a reputation with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies for their quality of investigation in all areas.
IBK is proud to be a supporter of the local community, inclusive of local youth sports programs and emergency response teams. In fact, on January 15, 2009, IBK assisted in the efforts to care for the flight crew of US Airways Flight 1549, also known as Miracle on the Hudson.
Since partnering with Command in 2019, the IBK team has continued with its long history of excellent service and results, while expanding its footprint and capabilities for the IBK client base. Further, Chuck King and his team have brought decades of experience and knowledge to further strengthen the Command team.
